Olivia's birthday party was held at the skating rink and everyone had a blast whether they skated or just watched.

What's a birthday without a new haircut and a manicure?

And a pedicure to set off a pair of sandals from a special friend?

Slip Sliding Away...

At least once a summer the kids host a Slip & Slide party. This year they held one on Memorial Day, which also happened to be Kristin's birthday.

They buy heavy grade landscape plastic and roll it out in their backyard. Since the yard has a downward slope, it's perfect. Looks like Olivia got into the action this year.

The Amazing Three-Year-Old Rock Climber

I don't know the occassion, but I'm impressed with her skill and bravado. And the look in the fourth photo is priceless!

Roller Derby Queen?

Someone went roller skating for the first time. According to her mother, the skates were old and the wheels would barely turn, so Miss O just clomped around the rink in them. But she's sure cute, huh?

A star is Born

I think these pretty much speak for themselves. This was Olivia's first dance recital. Unfortunately Grammy couldn't be there, but thank you Mr. Kodak for inventing the camera!

The "Tanicle" Gardens

Grammy got to keep Olivia while Mommy and Daddy went to the beach with friends. Since we had a beautiful weather day, we decided to visit the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

The two girls in my life.

It's been a while

Photos of Olivia have been scarce lately because the kids had a break-in and amongst the stolen items were their cameras. Their homeowner's insurance paid the claim but the kids are shopping carefully to replace things.

However, Grammy visited this weekend and here are some new photos of Olivia.

Opening the gardening set from Grammy. Now she can plant her own veggies!

Getting ready to watch the Wizard of Oz, her new favorite movie. She saw a live production last week and Mommy bought her the movie. Already she's traveling to Oz with her little dog and singing about being over the rainbow.

Everyone need a pair of special slippers to travel the yellow brick road, don't they?

Princess jammies and sheets make nighttime special.

Sharing a hug with Grammy before she left for home. After this photo was taken, Olivia donned her tiara and heavy coat for a shopping trip with Daddy who said the folks at Home Depot are always quite taken with Olivia's wardrobe.
